Introduction

Clozo Academy Proprietary Curriculum — The Subscription Box Growth System

SECTION 1: Sales Scripts

Script 1: The Elevator Pitch

Context: Quick introduction when someone asks what you do.

"I curate monthly [niche] boxes for people who [core benefit]. Each month, my subscribers receive [number] handpicked items worth [$X] in retail value, delivered to their door for just [$Y]. Think of it as having a personal [expert type] who shops for you."

Example: "I curate monthly coffee boxes for people who want to discover artisan roasters they would never find on their own. Each month, subscribers receive 4 handpicked coffees worth $55 in retail value, delivered to their door for just $34.99. Think of it as having a personal coffee buyer who sources the best beans from around the world."

Script 2: The Landing Page Conversion Call

Context: When a prospect is on your landing page but has not subscribed yet.

Email follow-up:

Subject: "Still thinking it over?"

"Hi [Name],

I noticed you visited [Box Name] but did not subscribe. Totally understandable — committing to a monthly box is a decision worth considering.

Here is what I would want to know if I were you:

Every box contains [$X] worth of [products] for [$Y]. Our subscribers rate us [X]/5 stars. And if you do not love your first box, I will refund every penny — no questions asked.

Your first box ships [date]. Want to give it a try?

[Subscribe Now — First Box Risk-Free]

[Your name]

Founder, [Box Name]

P.S. If you have questions, just reply to this email. I read every response personally."

Script 3: The Objection Handler — "Too Expensive"

"I completely understand — $[price] per month is a real investment. Here is how I think about it:

The items in each box retail for [$X] total. So you are essentially paying [$Y] for a [$X] collection, curated by someone who spends [hours] researching the best [products] every month.

Most of our subscribers tell us they save money because they stop buying [related impulse purchases] and instead look forward to their curated box.

Plus, if your first box does not feel worth every penny, I will refund you in full. No hoops to jump through.

Want to try just one box and see how it feels?"

Script 4: The Objection Handler — "I Will Sign Up Later"

"I get it — there is never a perfect time to start something new. But here is what I have learned from our subscribers:

The ones who say 'I will sign up later' usually mean well, but life gets in the way. Meanwhile, the ones who joined three months ago are already [sharing positive outcome].

Our founding member pricing [or: this month's theme] ends [date]. After that, the price goes up [or: this specific theme will not be available again].

I would hate for you to miss out on [specific benefit]. Can I reserve a spot for you right now? It takes 60 seconds, and you can cancel anytime before your first box ships if you change your mind."

Script 5: The Corporate Gifting Pitch

Context: Reaching out to HR or office managers for corporate gifting.

Subject: "Employee appreciation idea for [Company Name]"

"Hi [Name],

I am [Your name], founder of [Box Name] — a curated monthly [niche] subscription box.

I have been following [Company Name] and admire your commitment to [employee wellness/client relationships/team culture]. I work with several companies in [industry] who gift our boxes to [employees/clients/new hires] every month, and the feedback has been incredible.

Here is what one HR director told me last week: 'Our team looks forward to these boxes more than any other perk we offer. It is the one thing everyone mentions in our culture surveys.'

I would love to send you a complimentary sample box so you can see the quality firsthand. Would you be open to that?

Best,

[Your name]

P.S. We offer volume pricing for orders of 25+ boxes, plus custom branding options."

Script 6: The Annual Plan Upgrade

Context: Converting monthly subscribers to annual plans.

Subject: "You have spent $[amount] with us. Want to save $[savings] next year?"

"Hi [Name],

Here is what you get as an annual member:

Founding member status in our community

The savings alone make it worthwhile, but the exclusive perks are my way of saying thank you for being such a loyal subscriber.
