The Three-Circle Framework
Circle One: Your Passion or Deep Curiosity You do not need to be the world's leading expert. You need enough authentic interest to sustain 90 days of intense work and years of ongoing curation. Ask yourself: Would I enjoy researching and sourcing products in this space indefinitely?

Circle Two: Demonstrated Market Demand Demand signals include: active online communities with 10,000+ members, existing successful boxes in adjacent niches (proving willingness to subscribe), magazine or media coverage of the topic, and search volume for related keywords.
Example: When Maria searched "indoor plant subscription," she found search volume and several competitors — but all were either too expensive or focused on a single plant type, leaving room for her curated approach.
Circle Three: Logistical Feasibility Can you actually source, store, pack, and ship products in this niche? Consider: product fragility (glass bottles vs. fabric), shelf stability (perishables require cold chain), size and weight (shipping costs), and supplier accessibility.
