**Cancellation Policy**

Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I require 24 hours advance notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and no-shows will be charged the full session fee.

This policy exists because short-notice cancellations cannot be filled, and your reserved time represents a commitment from both of us. I understand that emergencies happen, and one emergency cancellation per calendar year will be waived without charge.

Please contact me by phone or email to cancel or reschedule. If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. I will wait 15 minutes for in-person sessions and 10 minutes for telehealth sessions before marking the appointment as a no-show.

**About Our Session Commitment**

Consistency is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. When you reserve a session time, I hold that time exclusively for you — no one else can use it.

If you need to reschedule, I ask for 24 hours notice so that I can offer the time to another client who may be waiting. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or missed without notice are charged the full fee.

I also know that life can be unpredictable. One emergency cancellation per year will not be charged — because we all have days when things fall apart.

If you find yourself struggling to keep appointments consistently, let us talk about it in session. Sometimes scheduling challenges reflect something important going on beneath the surface.

**Cancellation and No-Show Policy**

All sessions require 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling. This policy is applied consistently to all clients without exception.

- Cancellations with 24+ hours notice: No charge, full reschedule availability - Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: Full session fee charged - No-shows: Full session fee charged - Late arrivals: Session ends at the scheduled time; full fee applies

Emergency situations (hospitalization, medical emergency, severe weather preventing travel) are exempt from this policy. Please communicate with me as soon as you are able.

Payment for late cancellations and no-shows is due within 48 hours and will be charged to the card on file unless other arrangements are made.
