1. PHONE INQUIRY SCRIPTS
Incoming Call Script
Opening:
"Thank you for calling [Business Name], this is [Your Name]. How can I help protect your vehicle today?"
Discovery:
"Great, I'd love to learn more about what you're looking for. What type of vehicle do you have?"
[Listen]
"And what prompted you to look into detailing?"
[Listen — note the emotional trigger]
"Has your vehicle ever had professional paint protection or ceramic coating before?"
[Listen]
"How do you typically use the vehicle — daily driver, weekend car, or both?"
[Listen]
Transition to Booking:
"Based on what you've shared, I'd recommend coming in for a complimentary vehicle assessment. I'll walk through your car with you, identify any concerns, and recommend the right protection plan. These take about 15 minutes. Would Tuesday or Thursday work better for you?"
If they ask about price:
"Our packages range from $395 for our Essential detail up to $1,895 for our full Concours package with ceramic coating. The right package depends on your vehicle's condition and your goals. That's exactly what we'll determine during the assessment. Would morning or afternoon work better?"
Closing:
"Perfect, I have you down for [day] at [time]. I'll send you a confirmation text with our address and what to expect. I look forward to seeing your [vehicle]."
Outbound Call Script (Follow-Up on Inquiry)
Opening:
"Hi [Name], this is [Your Name] from [Business Name]. You reached out about detailing your [vehicle] and I wanted to personally follow up. Do you have a quick minute?"
Bridge:
"I remember you mentioned [reference their specific concern from the inquiry]. I've worked on several [vehicle type]s with similar [condition] and the results have been incredible. I'd love to show you what's possible."
Close:
"I'm doing assessments tomorrow afternoon and Thursday morning. Which works better for you?"
2. CONSULTATION SCRIPTS
In-Person Vehicle Consultation
Greeting (2 minutes):
"[Name], great to meet you. Thanks for bringing in your [vehicle]. Before we look at the car, tell me — what made you decide to get it professionally detailed?"
[Listen actively. Take notes. This is the most important part.]
Vehicle Assessment Walk-Around (10-15 minutes):
Exterior:
"Let's start at the front. I'm going to shine my light on the hood here — do you see these fine marks?"
[Pause. Let them look.]
"These are micro-scratches, usually from automatic car washes or improper drying. They're in the clear coat, not the paint itself, which means we can remove them completely with paint correction."
[Move to doors]
"These water spots here — they've started to etch slightly. If they sit much longer, they'll become permanent. A clay bar treatment removes them now."
[Move to wheels]
"Brake dust is actually corrosive. See how it's starting to pit the finish here? Regular cleaning prevents this, but once it starts, we need to polish it out."
Interior:
[Open door]
"The leather is showing some dryness here and here. This is early-stage cracking. If we condition it now, it stays supple. If we wait, it becomes permanent damage that costs thousands to repair."
[Carpets]
"These stains have set into the fibers. Our hot water extraction can lift most of them, but the sooner we address it, the better the result."
Education (3 minutes):
"So here's what I see: Your paint has [X condition], your interior needs [Y treatment], and to protect everything going forward, I'd recommend [Z protection]. The good news is everything I've pointed out is fixable. The question is which level of restoration makes sense for your goals."
Package Presentation (3 minutes):
"Based on your vehicle and what you've told me, I have three options for you."
"The ideal solution is our Exclusive Concours package at $1,895. This includes full two-stage paint correction, 5-year ceramic coating, complete interior restoration, leather conditioning, and our annual inspection program. For a [vehicle] like yours, it's the ultimate protection."
"Most of our clients choose our Signature package at $895. You get single-stage paint correction, 2-year ceramic coating, full interior detail with extraction, and glass treatment. It's exceptional value."
"If you want to address the immediate concerns and plan the ceramic coating for a future visit, our Essential detail at $395 gets your vehicle thoroughly cleaned and protected with a quality sealant."
Silence. Wait for them to respond.
Handle their choice:
Middle/Top: "Excellent choice. Let's get you scheduled. Would you prefer to drop off this week or next?"
Bottom: "Great starting point. Many clients start here and upgrade to ceramic coating on their next visit. Shall we get you on the calendar?"
Text/Message Consultation (For Online Inquiries)
Initial Response (within 15 minutes):
"Hi [Name]! Thanks for reaching out about your [vehicle]. I'd love to help. To recommend the right package, could you send me 2-3 photos of the exterior and let me know your biggest concern — paint condition, interior, or both? Also, has it ever had ceramic coating or paint protection? -[Your Name]"
After Photos Received:
"Thanks for the photos, [Name]. I can see [specific observation]. Based on what I'm seeing, I'd recommend our [package] at $[price]. This would address [specific issues]. When's a good time for a quick 5-minute call to walk through it?"
3. OBJECTION HANDLING SCRIPTS
Price Objections
"That's more than I expected."
"I completely understand. Most of our clients felt the same way before they understood what's included. Can I ask — what were you expecting to invest?"
[Listen]
"Got it. The difference between what you had in mind and our package is [explain value drivers]. Here's what I can do — I can adjust the scope to fit closer to your budget while still addressing your biggest concerns. Would that be helpful?"
"I need to think about it."
"Of course. This is an investment and you should feel confident about it. To help you think, what's the main question or concern you need to resolve?"
[Listen and address]
"Would it help if I put together a written summary of what we discussed that you can review?"
"I can get it cheaper somewhere else."
"You absolutely can find cheaper detailing. The question is what you'll actually receive for that price. Can I ask what the other quote includes?"
[Listen]
"I see. Here's the difference: [contrast your service scope, products, warranty, experience]. I'm not the cheapest option because I don't cut corners on products or time. If budget is the top priority, I respect that and can even recommend [budget alternative]. But if you want [specific outcome], this is what it takes."
"Can you do it for [lower price]?"
"I don't discount my services because the quality, products, and time invested are the same regardless of price. What I can do is adjust the scope. For example, if we skip [element] and focus on [priority], I can get you to $[adjusted price]. Would that work?"
Timing Objections
"I don't have time to drop off my car."
"That's exactly why we offer complimentary pickup and delivery within [distance]. I'll come to your home or office, take the vehicle, and return it when it's done. Most of our clients never visit the shop."
"It takes too long."
"Quality takes time. A proper ceramic coating requires [hours] because we [explain process]. Here's what I can do — we have a comfortable waiting area with WiFi, or I can arrange a loaner vehicle, or we can do pickup and delivery. Which option works best for your schedule?"
Spousal/Partner Objections
"I need to ask my wife/husband."
"Completely understand. Would it help if I put together a quick summary of what we discussed — what's included, the investment, and the benefits — that you can share with them? I can also invite them to call me directly with any questions. Some couples prefer a quick 5-minute call together so I can answer both your questions at once."

3-Day Follow-Up
Subject: Quick question about your [Vehicle]
Hi [Name],
I wanted to follow up on the protection plan we discussed for your [vehicle].
Quick question — are you more concerned about protecting the paint long-term, or is the interior restoration the bigger priority right now?
Depending on your answer, I might be able to suggest a phased approach that addresses your biggest concern first and spreads the investment over two visits.
Let me know and I'll put together a custom recommendation.

7-Day Follow-Up (Educational)
Subject: 5 things that destroy your car's paint in [City]
Hi [Name],
Even if you're not ready to book detailing right now, I wanted to share something that might save your paint in the meantime.
Here are the 5 biggest threats to your vehicle's paint in our area:
Automatic car washes — The brushes contain dirt from hundreds of previous vehicles
Salt and road chemicals — Start eating clear coat within hours of contact
Bird droppings — Can etch permanent marks in under 48 hours
Improper drying — Bath towels and chamois create swirl marks
Sun exposure — UV rays oxidize and fade paint over time
The good news? All of these are preventable with proper protection.
When you're ready to discuss ceramic coating or paint protection, I'm here.

10. MAINTENANCE PLAN ENROLLMENT SCRIPTS
At The Reveal (Highest Conversion Timing)
Setup:
"[Name], your vehicle looks incredible. The ceramic coating is going to make washing so much easier — water and dirt will barely stick to the surface."
Problem preview:
"The challenge most people face is that without regular maintenance, the coating degrades and the interior starts sliding back. Within 3-4 months, you're back where you started."
Solution:
"That's exactly why we created our Guardian maintenance plan. For $149 a month, we keep your vehicle in this exact condition year-round. Bi-weekly maintenance washes, quarterly interior details, and coating maintenance. You never have to think about it."
Alternative choice close:
"Would the Shield plan at $79 or the Guardian plan at $149 work better for your schedule?"
Handle hesitation:
"I get it — it's a commitment. Think about it this way: you're protecting a [$X] investment. This plan costs [$X] per month to keep it looking exactly like it does right now. Without it, you'll be back for another full detail in 4-6 months at $600+."
Make it easy:
"I can set everything up right now in about 2 minutes. Your first maintenance visit would be [date]. You'll get a text reminder the day before. Ready?"
Post-Service Enrollment Email
Subject: Keep your [vehicle] looking this good forever
Hi [Name],
Your [vehicle] detail is complete and the results are stunning. But here's the thing about detailing — it's not permanent.
Without regular maintenance:
The coating starts losing effectiveness in 3-4 months
The interior begins accumulating dirt and stains
You're back to square one within half a year
That's why most of our ceramic coating clients join one of our maintenance plans:
Shield ($79/month): Monthly wash, quarterly wax, 10% discount
Guardian ($149/month): Bi-weekly wash, quarterly interior detail, coating maintenance, priority scheduling
Concierge ($299/month): Weekly wash, monthly full detail, annual coating inspection, pickup and delivery
Which plan makes the most sense for how you use your vehicle?
Just reply to this email or text me at [number] and I'll get you enrolled.
